Giving Flowers

Many people think Giving Flowers to people is either a threat to a person's ego or that it makes a person feel inferior to the counterpart of their peers.

Why would you give someone recognition in any field that earns the right to be in the position or level of status that they are in? They put the hard work in, and didn't cut corners or allow the challenges of life to overcome them and deter them from the respect that is supposed to be given! Do you feel people should be Giving Flowers?
